HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET STARTED WITH OUR CROSSFIT GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS

 

Our approach

 

At Opus Athletics we believe that functional movements are the cornerstone to health and fitness. As humans we were designed to move perfectly, but we are our own worst enemy. The things we love to do (Skiing, Biking, Snowboarding, Running, etc...) can sabotage our ability to function optimally, we look to our training to turn that around. CrossFit states that specializing is the enemy. As true as that statement may be in the gym, we realize that you will specialize outside the gym, and have specific goals that reflect that too. At Opus Athletics, we recognize and accommodate for it. But we never let go of the idea that you are only as fit as your scope of training, so we ensure that we paint as broad a fitness stroke as possible. Hence using CrossFit as the core of our training program.

I train CrossFit already

If you have been training at a CrossFit affiliate before, then you can join our classes right away! It’s not uncommon for the answer to the question; “Have you done CrossFit before?” is “A little”. If that’s you, who has not done CrossFit regularly, or have never trained at an affiliate, we recommend taking our foundations program before joining groups. It’s not a punishment, or judging your level of fitness. It’s an instructional 3 sessions that any level of CrossFitter can benefit from.

WE CARE about you

With your safety in mind, if you have not done CrossFit before, then we need to ease you in to the program. Moving like a Gymnast, understanding how to move a barbell like an Olympic Weightlifter and Powerlifter are skills can take a lifetime to perfect. Joining classes without some basic instruction on how to move and meet the exercise standards is something we don't allow.

Here's how we get you started

3 foundations sessions

Before there is any commitment, you can try your any of our foundations sessions. (Foundations 1, 2, or 3, as they can be done in any order.) From there, you’d need to attend teh 2 remaining Foundations sessions in order to be jump into CrossFit group training.

Cost

We have 3 options to get started.

  • Purchasing any one of our memberships (Not including punch cards.).

  • Purchasing our 12 week starter promo (Best deal, and most recommended!)

  • Purchasing a 3 session, foundations only punchcard.

    In all cases, completion of the 3 foundations classes are a pre-requisite to joining groups.
